Good as Gay Introduction Roundup: Yay New Followers

So as my good pattiwongs know, I try to be super authentic in all that I do with my life. No gimmicks or superficial stunts. Basically, as much as I know my newest readers might despise this fact - advertising apparently works. You've all been targeted by my Facebook ad campaign.Or at least many of you have been influenced by those who have been sucked in by my rainbow socks and master copy-writing skills. Actually, I have no clue whether or not it is working. With exponential growth since the start of my campaign, I assume it to be a powerful venture. Though perhaps not as influential as Freud's nephew Edward Bernay. That takes mad skill to get a bunch of women to smoke cigarettes as a way to subvert patriarchy (male dominance in a society) and massively increase the sales and marketing scope of cig companies. (Freud's Nephew and the Origins of Public Relations)

As you might derive from this spectacle above, my interests aren't purely rainbows. Even though I am out, proud, and all those things, like my readership, I am an eclectic. The only glue really holding this blog together as far as I can tell is the subject of the humanities. Words, language, philosophy, poetry and perhaps a discussion about the implications of porn use. I haven't traversed that subject in a while. I did recently coin a concept I haven't defined yet. That being sexual vision. Like the vision one gets in watching a pornography is quite separate from the vision one has when engaged in a sexual interaction with another physically present human being. It reminds me of Mcdonald's advertising for hamburgers.

(Why photos of hamburgers look so much better then the real thing)

There is only one reason why I can make such an accurate and pessimistic leap between imagination and reality. That is because I am an INFP personality wise. This is a problematic definition. As much as I would like to imagine that Good as Gay is a separate entity than myself, it really is just a representation of my mind. However, my mind in particular due to my personality type has a knack for getting into other people's heads. As amazing of a superpower this may seem to be, it can become quite a nightmare because I frequently don't know who I am. It makes for good meta-fiction.

Funny enough, INFP's are more likely to support the legalization of Marijuana. I once thought that I supported this because my queer identity made more less likely to give a care about what people thought of me. Coming out for me brutalized my care of what people thought of me. Nonetheless, I hate conflict. Therefore, I'm always conflicted between what I really believe and what I want people to understand of me. At any rate, share the liberalness out of this article: Legalization of marijuana in Washington and Colorado

Before I get too pompous. I can come off as quite pompous in writing. I don't mean to be and it is likely that this could be just a paranoia. So to take a strike at myself here is a photo I took. And yes, I edited it on word just like all the amateur artsy folks do when they are super bored. But now everyone uses Pinterest to do that right? At any rate I hope you enjoy the site and share all that you learn here with your closest friends. I have plans to start writing books when I am out of college. I've managed a self published book of poems which sold well. I bought most the copies to give to my friends. Oh, and there was that one sale from somewhere in Europe.Chao!!

  1. JAcob, is that a picture of you with the watering can? If so, you've got a nice body.
